9,000 sheets on of paper per tree! A writer's lament! I just found out the average tree produces 9,000 sheets of paper. I recently learned to print on both sides of the paper. I can even manipulate the paper myself (somewhat of a challenge since I have a mobility impairment). I have decide that I need to one reduce the number of pages I print (for example making sure I print until I have a final draft or close to it and using recycled paper). As writers we need to be environmentally aware! Do you use sheets for blankets? Sometimes I use a sheet instead of a blanket. Do you do this - use a sheet for a blanket? duvets verus sheets and blankets My debate is....What keeps you warmer, duvets or sheets and blankets??I have a duvet on our bed, (but also have an eletric blanket, and i have just brought a thick blamket to put on the bed).
I do think back to the days when we had sheets and blankets, and wouldn't mind having sheets and blankets again, but with an extra blanket on our bed we are almost there How often do you change your ved sheets? Honestly, I just change mine when it is really needed. I have no regular schedule of changing my sheets. sometimes once in a week sometimes twice a month..[em]lol[/em] depending upon the need to be changed. Some people really have regular schedule of changing sheets. What about you? Are you like me? or you change if often as possible.Thanks for sharing yours. flannel sheets i just love flannel sheets when the weather starts to get cold.They are so soft and comfy.Do you use flannel sheets? Curtains, blinds or sheets? Or tinfoil in Alaska! When I lived there I found they put tinfooil up when the sun came out till early morning. I like curtains for ease although blinds can look cool but they get dusty and I have to fight to get them up or down. But in our new rental, our blinds are encased in a box - and we just pull this tab across and down to open and close and pull them up and down - so nice...great for allergy won't collect dust and such like blinds and curtains. So what do you prefer? In look and ease of use.... 7 years old nephew still wetting the sheets at night i was shocked when my brother told me that his son is still wetting the bed at night. i mean my son is turning three on january but he mo longer wet the sheets. he will wake us up to bring him to the toilet. i think this kind of cases has psychological problem. i dont think it is normal. do you know anything about a case like this. is this psychological? is there anything my brother needs to do to correct it? any experience regarding this?
How often do you change the sheets on your bed? I know this sounds crazy, but Hubby and I were having a discussion about this last night. He would like them changed more often (but doesn't do it). I say if it bothers you...fix it. Our beds are dirty things. All of our beds have, dust mites and or bed bugs that live in our sheets and linen. They like it there because we provide them lots of food. Bd bugs and dust mites love to eat the dead skin we shead each day as we sleep. We provide a free buffet for them every night. Did you know that we all sweat up to a litre of fluids a night while sleeping?Not to mention what else may be on your sheets....use your imagination here lolFor all these reasons, doctors and allergists recommend changing your bed linen at least once a week.
